Description of the area surrounding the biotope: The Sungai Nibong stream is one of the small tributaries of the Rajang River, flowing in a forest area east of the city of Sibu, Sarawak. Beginning in peat bogs, the stream flows through the forest to the open countryside, in this area, brightly lit by the sun, water plants appear that cover the bottom of the stream. The banks of the river are densely covered with bushes and grass. Since the large river is not far away, there is a danger of encountering crocodiles.
生物群落周边环境描述：尼邦河（Sungai Nibong）是拉让江的一条小支流，流经马来西亚砂拉越州诗巫市以东的森林区域。该溪流发源于泥炭沼泽，穿过森林后进入开阔的乡野地带；在这一阳光充足的区域，水生植物生长茂盛，覆盖了溪底。河岸两侧密布着灌木与草丛。由于距离大型河流不远，此处存在遭遇鳄鱼的风险。

Description of the underwater landscape of the biotope: The bottom of the stream consists of clay and sand, it is solid, covered with leaves, detritus and forest debris, there are driftwood and branches there. In the creek Cryptocoryne yujii grows, on solar plots forming dense clusters. In the underwater shootings there are Sundadanio axelrodi.

Description of the parameters of the habitat: The water is clear, saturated brown, contains many tannins, it is acidic and mild. pH is about 4.5. The flow is fairly fast. After the rain, the water rises and becomes turbid, the cryptocoryns are held in current, with their roots stuck in each other. The temperature is 25-28 degrees Celsius.
