Description of the area surrounding the biotope: The Logo Penera jungle puddle in the lower reaches of the Rio Uaupes.The environment of the original site is deep humus and deciduous in the jungle waterway of lake tributaries, the water color is dark brown, and the visibility is low. In the surrounding environment of nearly 50 square kilometers, about 50 centimeters deep puddles can be seen everywhere.

Description of the underwater landscape of the biotope: Branches fall around waterways full of deciduous and withered branches. A large number of fish eggs can be found on the shore of dead leaves of sedimentary plants, surrounded by a variety of palm tree seedlings. In the sapropelic layer of shallow water, a large number of Apistogramma elizabethae,Apistogramma inconspicua,DicrossusFilamentosus, juvenile fish can be found, and their traces can be found everywhere. Most of them live in a section of water between shoals and deep water, move cautiously, travel between deciduous dead branches, communicate with each other, and trace mysteriously. This is an ideal place for all juvenile fish to grow.
